Little Mice Twofers.

Hello everyone: As always, I hope and pray you and your families are doing well, taking care of each other and wearing your masks.

My husband and I went to get our first Covid-19 shot last Thursday, he'll be 67 in August, I'll be 70 in September.  That afternoon we experienced a slight headache, the injection site was a little painful but, all things considered, we felt ok.  On Friday, our arms started hurting a little more but not to the point to take any pain killers so we just didn't move them too much, we rested and had a good day. Today, the injection site is less painful so we are grateful that we didn't experience any other side effects.  We go back for our second shot on April 14th. We got the Phizer vaccine.

**********************************************************

So, I have a pair of Twofers that I want to share with you today.

***************************************************
The first one is a birthday card.

This is the INSIDE.

***********************************************
This is my Twofer, which is a Thanksgiving card.
I made it in a slimline layout to fit all the adorable little mice.

This is the INSIDE.

*************************************************
And this is what I used.

First card.

My Favorite Things "Harvest Mouse". I masked the barrel this mousey is carrying and replaced it with the fussy cut wrapped presents for the Birthday card.
Colored it with Prismacolor pencils.

My Twofer.

I stamped all 5 mice from the set plus one of the sentiments for the front panel.
The mouse that is carrying the barrel of cranberries has one that is kind of jumping from it so, I inked this berry again to make it look like more berries are falling, the last mousey is looking down so I figured he needed to look at something so he is looking at the fallen berries.
Stampabilities "Happy Thanksgiving", for the inside sentiment.
Prismacolor pencils.

I had fun creating these cards!!

I want to play with the following challenges.

I used the mouse carrying the barrel of berries twice on the birthday card and then once on the Thanksgiving card.

I chose FUR.

Thank you for visiting me today.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.

WOW!! I adore how you altered that cute little mouse to create a present on his head. I always want to do this but just am so horrid at it. WONDERFUL card designs!!

Your busy little mice are so adorable, Maria! You know how I enjoy a cute card. I especially love the fall line up. Glad to know all went well with your vaccine. We got Moderna here. No problems. Just the tiniest bit of tenderness at the injection site.

These are darling, Maria! You remind me that this is yet another set I just HAD to have and then I never used it. I love the wee mice celebrating a festive birthday with presents! And I love the sweet story you made of the mice parading along your slimline design! Your coloring and insides are fabulous. Thank you for playing in TCC #36! I'm SO SO glad you both will soon be fully vaccinated! Hugs, Darnell

These little mice are just adorable, Maria ... what a fabulous choice for your prompt! Your colouring is delicious ... and I love how you made them into gift carriers for your birthday card! The parade of them on your Thanksgiving card is so fun ... what a great idea to stamp more cranberries to give that last mouse something to gaze at ... ingenious! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
