I'm a Guest Designer at the TWOFER CARD CHALLENGE!!!

 Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.

*******************************************************

Well, I'm very happy to be the Guest Designer at the Twofer Challenge #40, my
Twofers for Challenge #38 were picked as the Conventional winner, WooHoo!!

The Prompt for this challenge is:

Twofer Card Challenge

And here are my cards.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Card # 1,"Friendship"
This is the INSIDE.
**********************************************
My Twofer. "New Home"
This is the INSIDE.
*******************************************************
This is what I used.
Most times, I like to combine several stamp sets from different companies to achieve the look I want for my cards.
Card #1.
Stampin' Up! "Free as a Bird".
Stampin' Up! "Climbing Roses".
DSP from my stash.
Enamel Dots from Gina Marie Designs.
**************************************************
Card #2
Stampin' Up! "Free as a Bird". I used the mirror stamping technique to create the two little birds.
Stampin' Up! "Crackle Paint"
The die-cut flower might be from Memory Box, but I'm not sure, I apologize for not having this information, this die is very old.
Flourishes "Friendly Reminders" for the sentiments in the front.
Stampin' Up! "Beautiful Bouquet" for the inside sentiment and the leaves on the branch.
Altenew "Birch Land" for the little birdhouse.
The DSP is from my stash.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope you give this TWOFER CARD CHALLENGE a chance, I love putting my creative mind to the test when I play along with this challenge, I feel grateful to all the ladies in the Design Team for inviting me to be their Guest Designer this time around.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, I appreciate your visit and your comments.

Please stay healthy and safe.
Till next time.
Maria.

WwwwWow! You have the gift of rising to a Challenge! Incredible job working this set so differently in two designs!
I love paisley and your card with designer paper is a joy to my eye to look over paisley just reminds me of whimsical plant life!
Well done incorporating a shaped die cut on your second project! This one sets the wreath scene of your Welcome Home card perfectly with your pair of birds (colored perfectly) I imagine the wreath on the front door such a sweet entrance! Congratulations on your Win and enjoy your day as Guest Designer once again!

Wow! Love your golden bird on both cards, Maria! He's so pretty with the gingham and patterned papers for a friend! I love how you mirrored him for your new home card! More fabulous use of patterned paper! Wonderful inspiration! Thanks for joining us as a Guest Designer this month!

Thanks so much for your kind comment. So glad I don't have face being a Guest Designer alone...and with such a talented designer as yourself.
Your cards are a complete delight to behold. You are certainly masterful at combining patterned papers with that sweet bird. Using mirror stamping for the second card is absolutely brilliant. Your diecuts add so much to your finished cards.
It's a real pleasure to share this Guest Designing assignment with you. Again, thank you for reaching out.

Such a delightful duo, Maria! I've tried the mirror stamping technique, but have not mastered it nearly as well as you! These cards are just fabulous. I love all the patterns and colors you've chosen for both cards, and I especially love the brightly colored yellow bird on your friendship card. That 'crackle' paper gives a great look to the new nest, too! Awesome cards. Thank you for joining us as Guest Designer at this month's Twofer! Take care. Bev

WOW!! You've outdone yourself this month Maria...your cards are FABULOUS!! You have such an eye for detail...from coordinating your dsp to combining different stamp sets and making it look like it was all meant to be together from the beginning!! Your little yellow birds are just as sweet as can be, and I really love that you made a mirror image for your 2nd card!! LOVE that your 2nd card is a shaped card too!! Lovely, lovely cards Maria, and thank you so much for inspiring our players this month with such creative cards! Hugs, Marcia (DT) :0)
