Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I like to make Christmas cards throughout the year, and Christmas cards challenges are a great way to add to your Holiday stash so, that when December comes along, you don't have to be scrambling to make your cards for family and friends.
This is the inside.
And this is what I used.
SU "Father Christmas" (2016 Holiday Mini)
Power Poppy "Spice it Up" (2015)
I would like to play with these challenges.
I was inspired by the word "Vintage", and the colors red and green.
Thank you for visiting me today and for your comments, I appreciate them so very much.
Until next time, stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.
Whoa! This came together wonderfully! I love the sketch! What a wonderful vintage image paired with this ivory ornament paper! Stunning use of inside stamping where is the filigree bracket stamp from? Reminds me of ornamental woodwork in the doorways of some 1800’s Victorian homes my town is lucky to still have around!
Whoa ! This is quite festive with old ST.Nick ! You did a beautiful job building the scene . Very pretty
Maria, this is a lovely card using St Nick. I love the design papers you've used and your embellishments. I can't believe we are at the end of April already it won't belong and Christmas will be here again. Great idea making your stash early. Great card and thanks so much for sharing it with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and good luck.
How wonderful to be so organised and have a stash of Christmas cards prepared for when the festive season arrives. Great card and I love those background papers. Thanks so much for joining us at The Card Concept.
I love the vintage elements on your card. Such a sweet image! Thank you for playing along with us at The Card Concept.
Your stamp works great with the sketch and the paper is beautiful. Great use of the ribbon, too! I was working on Christmas cards until we suddenly had 3 sunny days, and then I had to be outside enjoying them, sigh.
