Age is a Matter of the Mind.

Hello everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other safe and wearing your masks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The SHOPPING OUR STASH is inviting you to create your cards sharing the places you would love to visit once the Pandemic is under control.  For me, I would love to go lay down on a beach, like these gals, ohhh!! how I wish....., so, let us know what you would like to do or the places you would love to go to and come and join us in our gallery. This is the card I made to inspire you to play along.
I don't know about you but, these 3 friends from Art Impressions make me feel so darn jealous, how I wish I was at the beach with them.
This is the INSIDE.
And this is what I used.
Art Impressions "Beach Babes"
CAS-ual Fridays "Foxy" for the flower detail.
Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment in front is from the Internet, I just hand wrote it.
So we hope to see all the places you would love to visit when this Pandemic is under control and share that in the next 10 days in our SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, I can't wait to see one for real outside my windows.
Stay healthy and safe.
Twofer Moon or Sun.
Hello everyone: I hope you and your family are doing well in these very trying times.  Take care of yourselves and each other, and wear your masks, I honestly don't understand why some people refuse to do this even knowing it can save your life and the lives of your loved ones.  I mean, you put a seat belt when you get in your car or board an airplane, right? that saves lives so why, oh why not wear a mask, if you think about it, there is no valid reason not to do it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every month I wait patiently for the fabulous gals from The Twofer Challenge Design Team to reveal the theme of the next one and I'm always delighted to participate, the theme for this challenge is "Moon or Sun" so here are my Twofer cards for the new challenge.

Beach Babes.....

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: My teammates and I at the SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge blog, have a fun challenge for you to play with and it's all about FRIENDSHIP so I hope this card inspires you to come and play along in our gallery.

These sweet and beautiful gals look like they've been friends for years and what can be more fun than to take a vacation to someplace warm with your friends.
Heck, I wish I was sitting there, holding a refreshing beverage, getting a tan and turning heads, LOL!!
This image is from Art Impressions and it's called BEACH BABES, love it.
I stamped it on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink and then clear heat emboss it, I wanted to watercolor it and, as you can see, there are a lot of small areas that might bleed into one another if it wasn't for the little wells that heat embossing creates. I used a set of fine line markers my granddaughter gave me the other day, I love the colors, they are super vibrant.
The yellow background paper was heat embossed in white using one of the stamps on the retired SU set called "Peaceful Petals", the green paper is from my stash. The sentiment is from the AI set, I added a couple of enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Sassy Succulents". I masked the little glass at the bottom from the fun image on the front of the "Beach Babes" set.
Please stop by the SHOPPING OUR STASH blog to see my teammates' beautiful creations and come and play along in our gallery.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Ahh!! The Bling!!!

Hello everybody: I have a card to share today made with one of my favorite images from Arts Impressions, this super fun, adorable lady is from the set called Beach Babes and I think she is totally fabulous, love the sentiment and the HUGE rock on  her finger, LOL!!
I'm linking this card to a few challenges at the end of this post.

After arranging my layers, I stamped her onto a piece of water color paper with Stazon black ink and colored her with some neon green water color paint who's origins I can't remember, this little plastic tube of paint is super old but I love that it still works.  I added Dazzling Details to her bathing suit and hat, Glossy Accents to her shades and glass and a bit of Panama City Beach sand under her beach chair. This sand is from those amazing Spring Break vacations my hubby and I took with our grandchildren, when they were younger, sigh!! how we miss those days.😢
**********************************************************************
Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Camellias" and the yummy drink from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Happy Hour".

I'm linking this card to the following challenges.
Art Impressions Challenge #212 "Bling, Glitter or Glossy"
Creative Knockouts Challenge #201 "Summer Fun"
