Pinwheels X 5.......

Hello everyone: I might sound like a broken record (this is for all of you baby boomers who remember the vinyl LP's), but as always, it is my most heartfelt hope that you and your families are doing well in this very difficult times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This card was not created using anything from my stash of UFO's (UnFinishedObjects) but I really like the way it turned out.
These fabulous Pinwheels are from an old, retired Flourishes set called "Pinwheels and Popsicles" (2013), the sentiment is also from this set.
I stamped this beautiful Pinwheel 5 times, colored each with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut them, I always put a piece of painters tape underneath images that have very delicate parts, like the sticks on the pinwheels, to give them a bit more sturdiness as I fussy cut them, it works perfectly.
I don't know if any of you recognize the colorful strip across the panel, well, if you don't, it's from the packages that the Power Poppy stamp sets come in. I love the colors so, I cut it up when I place my new sets on their plastic sleeves, I think it looks really cool on this card.
********************************************************
This is the picture of the INSIDE.
The sentiment and balloons are from another Flourishes set from 2010, I think it's called "Celebrate" but I'm not sure, the package is long gone.
I want to play along with the following challenges.
"Repeat Day"
Day of the Month Card Club
#228 "All Occasions"
#2025 Anything Goes.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.
Ms. Dotty........
Hello everyone: I'm always hoping and praying you and your families are doing well in these troubling times, all I can tell you is to stay safe and healthy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have this really fabulous stamp set from the 2014 kit of the month called "Hey Girl" I haven't used in a while, so here's this card which I will enter in a few challenges, I just love this girl holding this bunch of balloons.

I stamped the image on Strathmore Bristol paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with some SU re-inkers and watercolor pencils, I added some gold paint to her dress and balloons and red glitter to the hearts.
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips.

This is the inside.

The sentiment is from the Uniko set, the balloon from Hero Arts.

I want to play with the following challenges.

With every post, I keep wishing and hoping you and your families are healthy and safe, I keep telling my grandchildren that we must be patient and don't rush into anything, this virus doesn't discriminate, so caution is of the utmost importance, listening to the experts and scientists who are working diligently to find a solution for all of us.
God Bless every single person who is working on the front lines, from hospitals and clinics to grocery stores and everything in between.
THANK YOU.

Hello everyone: It's time for another SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge for you to play with, this time we want to see STICKERS on your cards, we can't wait to see what you come up with.
I must confess that it's been a good 4 years since I've used stickers on a card, I went back to see when I created a card with stickers and I found THIS CARD from 2016. I do have a few stickers I bought a long time ago but I just don't use them, I think I buy them because they are either super cute or really beautiful.
So I found this small stash of stickers on a small drawer by my desk, honestly, I haven't opened it in a long while.
But here's my card, hope it inspires you to come and play along.

Everything on this card is from my stash, the adorable puppy sticker, musical notes, gift, and sticker tag where the sentiment is stamped.

**********************************************************
This is the INSIDE of my card.

This is what I used.

Stamps:
There She Goes "Wrapped in Joy" (I think it's discontinued)
Dies:
Memory Box "Party Music" (maybe discontinued also)
Prismacolor pencils to color the gift boxes.

I hope you stop by the SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge blog and get more inspiration from my awesome teammates.

Thank you for visiting me today.
Stay healthy and safe.
Hugs.
Maria.

Tic Tac Toe fun for RR #82.....

No automatic alt text available.

Hello everyone: The RETRO RUBBER challenge has a Tic Tac Toe theme for you to play with, lots of fun and fabulous combinations for you to choose from, so I hope you get inspired and come and join us in our gallery.  Here is the card I made using the first vertical line, Pink, Twine and Birthday.

This image is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Happiness Shared" that came out back in the 2010-2011 catalog, I bought it right when it came out. The image is stamped with Stazon black ink and colored with SU markers and Prismacolor pencils, I added a bit of splatter with the "Gorgeous Grunge" (2013-2014 retired), the sentiments are from a Power Poppy set called Best Day Ever, the pattern paper is from a retired line from Lili of the Valley, the little birthday candle is a button I bought at the local craft store, the twine from my stash and the decorative border was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

************************************************************

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The lacy border is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details" from the 2017 SAB catalog, the sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called Potted Primroses, the gift box is from a "There She Goes" set called "Wrapped in Joy" and the balloon is from a Hero Arts set called "Happy Today".
I really love combining different stamp sets to create my cards.
I hope you get inspired to come and join my teammates and I at the RETRO RUBBER gallery.  This challenge is a very special one because we are welcoming the fabulously talented LeAnne Pugliese as the newest member of the team, her blog weeinklings is amazing, be sure to go visit, you will be so happy you did.

Thank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER, please read our rules, the most important one is that ONE OF THE STAMPS YOU USE IN YOUR CREATION MUST BE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OLD, this challenge blog is dedicated to those older stamps that haven't seen ink in a while and they deserve to shine again. There She Goes Birthday.....

Hello dear blogging friends: I'm always looking for a good bargain when it comes to my crafting supplies, I've had a self imposed monthly budget for a few years now that I seriously try to follow, although I must confess sometimes, I've gone a bit crazy and.....well.....you know, right?
Some of this great bargains come from other crafters who sell their stuff, mostly stamps sets that are discontinued or that they can't use anymore on their blogs because they are retired, this stamp set from "There She Goes" is one of them.
The SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge's theme for this week is BIRTHDAYS, you can use balloons, cake, gifts, etc. Here's a great chance to start on your stash of Birthday cards for 2018.

The images are so cute and so darling, this little girl, with her stack of gifts is just delightful and the best part is that all of this images can be used for Birthdays as well as Christmas.
I stamped this sweetie with Stazon black ink on a die cut piece of watercolor paper and colored it with Sakura Koi watercolors and a few Prismacolor pencils for shading, now that I'm looking at it on this photo, I think I went a bit overboard with the coloring, there are so many different ones on this small image, I just couldn't stop.
The balloon was die cut from pink Vellum and tied with embroidery thread, I still can't believe I was able to actually tie a knot on the tiny end of it.
The sentiment is from the set and the pattern paper from my stash.

**********************************************************************
This is a picture of the inside of my card, I've been finishing the inside just to save time when I mail them.

All of the images here are also from the set.
So come along and play with my teammates and I in the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery and start your birthday card stash for the year.
Stop by our blog and check out my teammates wonderful creations for more inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.
