A Doggie and Kitty Tag for LIM.

 Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and safe.

****************************************

I have this cute tag to share today, created with some of the most adorable DSP from Stampin' Up! I've ever seen.

********************************************

This is the inside.

And this is what I used.
The doggie and kitty are fussy cut from "Pampered Pets" DSP.  I'm not too fond of DSP because, as you can see here, I just couldn't bring myself putting these adorable animals under on a card but the other side of this particular DSP has designs I can easily use this way.

Christmas Lights from "Whimsy Stamps"
Power Poppy "Merry Littles" for "Peace"
Power Poppy "Poinsettia" for the sentiment inside
Penny Black "A Bright Tomorrow" for the snowflake.

I want to play with:

Thank you for stopping by today, your comments always make my day.
Please stay healthy and safe.

Maria.

Pampered Pets.

 Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, staying healthy and safe.

*****************************************************

If I remember correctly, the "Playful Pets" DSP from Stampin' Up! came out in the 2020-2021 big catalog and, as soon as I saw it, I just fell in love with all of the doggies and kitties on it, the stamp set "Pampered Pets" was just as cute and sweet so, I bought all of it, I actually got 2 of the DSP, I just couldn't resist it.  I'm not too fond of DSP, most times, the images on both sides of the paper are beautiful and therefore, impossible for me to pick a side to go under but, in this case, the underside didn't have cute little critters so, I felt at ease buying it.

Anyway, I've been fussy cutting the doggies and kitties on this paper and I've made a few cards with it, this one is my latest.  The expression on this cat is the same my cat has when my youngest daughter's doggie comes to visit, LOL!

By the way, I put a piece of clear Scotch Tape behind the cat's whiskers, just so they would be easier to fussy cut, I always reinforce images that I want to cut out with painter's tape but, in this case, I didn't want the painter's tape to show, the scotch tape worked great!!

I apologize for the small font on this post, I really love this font that's called "Dancing Script", I wrote the post on the "large" size but I think next time, I will use the "largest" setting.

My First Cloisonne attempt.....

 Hello everyone: I hope all of you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.

****************************************

I'm a person who loves to try new things at least once if anything, just to see if I can do them.  Recently I heard of a new (to me) technique called "Cloisonne", I saw a few video tutorials on how to do it and, to my delight, it's really simple, what took a little longer was to find my magazines and browse through the pages looking for the best images with lots of colors, to use.  So, here's my first ever "Cloisonne" card, please let me know what you think, ok?

This is the inside.

And this is what I used.
Stampin' Up! "Peaceful Petals" (2014)
Flourishes "Tulips for Friends" (2013)
Tim Holtz "Alterations" Die set.
Flourishes "Hydrangea" (2012)

I want to play with:
For my added elements I added "Fussy Cutting", "Dry Embossing"
and "Heat Eembossing"

Thank you for visiting me today and for your comments, they are very much appreciated.
Please stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.

A Furry 2021 Welcome.

 Hello everyone: I'm always praying and hoping you and your families are doing well, keeping each other safe and wearing your masks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the first challenge of 2021 for SHOPPING OUR STASH,  this time the theme is "Something New", so, if you received new goodies for Christmas, we want to see them.  Here's what I created to inspire you to play along.
This past year I didn't buy any new stamp sets, I have so many beautiful and adorable images from different companies that I truly don't need more so, the only thing I bought last year was DSP.  My friends who know me well know I do not like DSP simply because in most cases, both sides have beautiful or adorable images and patterns that I just can't choose which one to put under but, this Stampin' Up! DSP called "Playful Pets" was impossible to resist and I bought it because the images of doggies and kitties are so darn adorable but also because on the other side, the designs are something I can feel ok putting under.  I'm not saying they are not nice but, in my mind, I can feel ok not showing them.
This is the INSIDE
I left the inside with no sentiment so I can customize this card when needed, I don't like to have to "fix" the inside if the sentiment is wrong for the occasion.
Anyway, all I did is to fussy cut these adorable little doggies, the one on the inside is from the edge of the paper, I just couldn't cut this little guy in half myself.
The sentiment on the front panel is from a retired Power Poppy set called "Well Played" (2015)
So I hope you share with us over at SHOPPING OUR STASH all the new goodies you got over the Holidays, we can't wait to see what you create.
Stay healthy and safe, this pandemic is not under control yet so, please always wear your masks and keep your distance.
Sending love and hugs.
Maria.
