Some time ago I was browsing on Ebay looking for stamp sets sales and I found a Stampin' Up! adorable set called "Mice Messages" and the decal on the wood mount had a 1999 date, it was love at first sight for me so I immediately bought it.
(Personally, I wish SU would put the dates of their stamps on the sets)

I made this Twisted Easel card with one of the images.

I stamped the image on Ninah Kraft card stock with Memento ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.

This is what I used.

SU "Mice Messages" (1999)
Flourishes "Picking Wild Flowers" (2013)
Flourishes "Grab a Cup" (2010)
SU "Morning Cup" (2010-2011)
Lawn Fawn "Stitched Scalloped Rectangle" dies.

Please go visit the SHOPPING OUR STASH blog to get more inspiration from my awesome teammates and come join us in our gallery.

Thank you for visiting.
Stay healthy and safe and please, don't forget to wear your masks.

Let's Party!!!!!!!

Hello everyone: I'm rushing to have this card finished to enter a few challenges.
It's been a bit of a busy morning, I had to do a water change on my 75 gals. marine tank, clean the filter, windows inside and out and clean up my kitchen after all of this is done.

I've been itching to ink up these adorable mice from the SU set called "Sweet Storybook" from the 2018-2019 annual catalog for a long time but you know how it goes....you buy a stamp set, it arrives and then.....you put it away on a designated place in your craft room and, well....you forget you have it until you find it again and you wonder why it's been neglected.
But anywho, I love these pair of friends and the fabulous "Amanita Muscaria" or
"Fly Agaric" mushroom in the background.
I stamped all the images on white card stock, color them with my Prismacolor pencils, put a bit of painter's tape behind the mice tails to make them a bit sturdier and fussy cut them.
I stamped a bit of grass to give the mice something to stand on, using the bottom of the Mallard Duck in the retired Stampin' Up! set called "Wilderness Awaits", the sign and the sentiment are from Purple Onion, and the balloons, string, and bows are from the retired SU die set called "Balloon Pup-Up".

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment from a Power Poppy set called "Sassy Succulents" and the little mushroom in the corner from another Power Poppy set called "Natural Beauties".

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Your favorite animal and why.
I really love all animals but mice are just so adorable, I see them outside my kitchen window, going back and forth from the bird feeders, no matter the weather. I wouldn't want them inside my house though, they belong outdoors.

Mousy Get Well Wishes.....

Image may contain: text

Hello dear blog friends: There is a new challenge over at the RETRO RUBBER challenge blog and it's one of the most popular ones, as the banner says, ANYTHING GOES this time so, I hope you find some time to play along with my teammates and I in our gallery.
Here is a card I made with, what I think, is the oldest stamp set in my craft room, one that was issued way long before I started stamping back in, if I recall correctly, 2010 or so. This set is called "Mice Messages" from Stampin' Up! and it's as cute as it can be.

Stampin' Up Mice Messages Set of 4 Stamps Retired 1999 Celebrate Love Friends

As you can see, the date on the wood block is 1999, I saw it on Ebay and I just had to have it and here is the card I created with one of the images, I was smiling, from ear to ear as I was coloring this sweetie pie.

Isn't she adorable?  I stamped this image onto a die cut circle of water color paper with Stazon ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and paper stumps dipped in baby oil. The background was made with a Woodgrain background stamp and the "floor" is a piece of Lili of the Valley pattern paper, (discontinued)
The lilac pattern paper is also from Lili of the Valley and sadly, also discontinued.  The sentiment is from this stamp but I snipped it off just to be able to place it anywhere I wanted.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment and the bench are from an old retired Flourishes set called "Around the Arbor".
So there you have it, hope you got inspired by my card to play along with us at RETRO RUBBER for our "ANYTHING GOES" challenge, for more inspiration hop over the challenge blog and check out my awesome teammates creations.
Please remember to use at least one stamp that is OLDER THAN A YEAR, whether it's how long you've had it or the date it was issued, we want to give all of our older and a bit neglected stamps a chance to shine again.
Also, please limit your challenge participation to 10 challenges, including ours.

Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.
