Amanita Flavoconia.....

Hello everyone: So here I am with another Mushroom card from the fabulous Power Poppy set called Wild Mushrooms.  I've been learning a lot about these wild varieties of mushrooms that I really have never seen in person.
So here's my card featuring this beautiful and fiery looking one and, if you'd like, you can check the other ones I've made with this beautiful set HERE and HERE.

Here's a couple of pictures of the real thing.

How beautiful are these??!!! but, unfortunately, they are NOT EDIBLE, ok?
They are just awesome to look at.

I stamped these beauties on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it then, I colored it with SU Markers and Prismacolor pencils.
All the pattern papers are from my stash, I can't seem to make any significant dent on them at all, I think I have enough to last me for years.
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Sunny Harvest, I added a little enamel dot from Gina Marie Designs.
**********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is done with a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment and the little mushroom are from the Power Poppy set.

I want to play along with the following challenges.

Week #17 "Anything Goes Color Challenge"
Colour Crazy Craft Challenge

Thank you for stopping by, your comments always make my day.
XO
Maria.

I can not believe that I am so lacking in knowledge about mushrooms and all of the different ones there are plus how unusual . This is another interesting one . You have done a wonderful job of capturing them on your cards !
Not only do we get to see your pretty creations I am learning that there are more than PORTABELLOs (sp)

These mushrooms are so cool...I have a mushroom stamp purchased at least a couple years ago and I haven't even used...you have encouraged me to pull it out of stash. Beautiful colors and card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.
