Pastels, Pastels.....

Hello everyone: THE FLOWER CHALLENGE has a new theme for you to play with this month and its PRETTY PASTELS, so we all hope you come and join us in our gallery.  This is the card I made to inspire you but be sure to stop by the blog and check out my awesome teammates' creations.

The image is from a Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips and its heat embossed in white and colored with SU markers adding a bit of Wink of Stella, hope you can see it, the sentiment is from the same set.
The die cut frame is from Spellbinders called Tranquil Moments, the middle section where the flowers were stamped was traced and fussy cut.

**************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I stamped the border with a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment is from another retired SU set called "Whimsical Words" and the slice of cake is from an old Flourishes set, I think it's called "Celebrate".

I hope you come and play along with us over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, remember to make flowers the main focus on your cards, and please read our rules, we have a fabulous prize for one lucky winner from UNIKO so it's worth to take a look so you can have a chance.

Thank you for stopping by, your comments always make my day.
Hugs.
Maria.

Well, I love pastels and white embossing, so I LOVE your card! One of my most frequently colored stamps, too. These tulips are so pretty. Your framing makes them all the more lovely. We're about to take enchiladas out of the oven to have 4th of July dinner with our son. Apple pie for later. The two don't exactly go together, but I love both!

How awesome! You made even the inside of the card pastel!!! Beautiful and elegant card! Btw Great job in fussy cutting, Maria! I thought the middle panel was cut using the die too!

Inlaying the panel with your lovely pastel flowers was such a great idea, Maria.
