Mediterranean Moments.

Hello everyone: As always, I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping each other healthy and safe.

*****************************************************

I have a card today made with one really beautiful SU stamp set called "Mediterranean Moments", all 4 images are sweet, this one, with a narrow street with hanging plants and colorful buildings really make me nostalgic about those small Mexican towns on the Pacific coast where my hubby and I used to get lost in the beauty of their simple everyday life.

This is the inside.

And this is what I used.

SU "Mediterranean Moments"

Watercolor pencils.

I left the inside without a sentiment, I found out it's better to wait till I need the card to stamp one.

I want to play with these challenges.

Double D Challenges: "Buildings"

Thank you for stopping by today, I appreciate your visit and your sweet comments.
Until next time, take care and stay healthy and safe.

XO
Maria.

PS. That steel mesh on my window was placed to protect the glass from being smashed by golf balls.  The grass you see in the distance is the tee (is this what it's called?) on hole #5.  That particular window is by my work desk and it's been broken twice, very expensive to replace since it's a double tempered glass.  The golfers are not responsible for one red cent and they are not obligated to pay, only once we've been offered by the person who broke our window, to pay half, which was more than we expected, and we happily agreed.
The golf association here in my subdivision should impose a fee on anybody who wants to golf here, whether you live here or not, but nothing has happened so far, it's really very upsetting.
Thank you for letting me vent.💖

Hydrangea in Bloom.......

Hello everyone: I'm making a lot of progress using my very old stamp sets, this one is called "Best Thoughts" it's from way back in 2015-2016 and it was a SU Host set I found on eBay.

I can't wait until my Hydrangea bushes start blooming, the color of the flowers is just like the one on this image, a little pink a little purple and a whole lot of beauty.  I stamped this flower on a die-cut piece of Strathmore Bristol card stock with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, the butterfly and the sentiment are from this set.  I don't remember where the beautiful washi tape came from but I love it.
**********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Tea in the Garden, the butterfly is from an old Flourishes set called "Gerbera Daisies".

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Blooming Pumpkin.......

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: My teammates and I at SHOPPING OUR STASH want to get you in the mood for Autumn, Pumpkin Pie, crisp, clear days with gorgeous colors on the trees, Thanksgiving, etc. so we invite you to come and play along with us over the challenge blog and share your cards featuring Pumpkins or anything that spells Autumn for you.

Well, the name of this challenge blog is SHOPPING OUR STASH and oh boy!! I totally did this to create this card.
I have a box with a whole bunch of nameless red rubber stamps, this one seems to have been attached to a woodblock that I most likely peeled off and discarded back when wasn't thinking of blogging at all. I regret doing this but woodblock stamps take up a lot of space, maybe that's the reason I did it.
I'm going to create more cards with using the stamps in this box, I think they all deserve to be inked up.
I stamped the image with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, then colored with SU re-inkers.
**********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends", the flower from a retired 2006 SU set called "Reason to Smile", brought back in 2012 for a limited time.

I hope you get inspired to come and play with us at the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, we can't wait to see what you create.

Thank you for stopping by, your comments always make my day.
