Little Succulents.....

Hello dear friends: I love Succulents, these hardy and beautiful little plants are easy to keep and simply adorable.

The images and sentiment are from a Power Poppy set called "Sassy Succulents, the pattern paper from my stash.
I stamped them with Stazon black ink and colored them with my Prismacolor pencils, I embossed the panel with a Stampin' Up! embossing folder called "Subtle Dynamic Impressions".

Both the sentiment and the little Succulent are from the Power Poppy set.

Black and White Daisy.....

Hello everyone: When someone asks me what is my favorite flower I honestly can't say, I love all flowers, from the regal Rose to the elegant Iris, the happy Daffodil and the always smiling Pansy, Violas and Violets, the "humble" Daisy is so beautiful too, simple and sweet, whether in all white or yellow, orange and pink, Daisies are lovely by themselves or as a complement to any bouquet.

These images are from a retired SU set called "Every Moment" (2010-2011)
I stamped them on a black card base with white ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils, the sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The border is from a retired SU set called "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Azalea, the small Daisy from Penny Black.

A Second Set of Twofers.....

Hello everyone: Well, I'm happy to see there's still time to sneak in The Twofer Challenge with these cards, both created using an old
Flourishes set called "Calla Lillies"

And here they are individually.

This is a Bridal Showe Card.
When I was growing up, my sweet maternal Grandma had huge pots of these flowers in the patio and little backyard of her house, these flowers were all white with the bright yellow center, I never saw Calla Lillies in any other color.
I colored these flowers with Prismacolor pencils, the sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Teeny, Tiny Wishes", the filigree die is from Mariane Designs.

*******************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Hand-Penned Holidays", the border from SU "Delicate Details".

Here's my Twofer.

This is a Sympathy card.
Once again I used my Prismacolor pencils, I really love how the white pencil makes the card stock even whiter. I decided to use browns instead of black for my card base and pattern paper, I think it gives this card a softer look.
The sentiment is very simple, stamped with gray Stazon ink.
I thought about using a few pearls but decided to let the flowers stand-alone.

The sentiment and the flower are from the "Calla Lillies" set.

Retro Rubber Color Me! Challenge.....

Image may contain: flower, text and nature

Hello everyone: Aren't those flowers just so beautiful?
The RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE has this gorgeous picture for you to get inspired to come and play along and here's the card I made for this challenge.

Violas, Pansies, Violets are my most favorite small flower, they are hardy, colorful and gorgeous.
The image is from a 2009 Flourishes set called "Sweet Violets".
I stamped it on Strathmore Vellum paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, the surface of this paper is smooth so it blends the colors easily, the pattern paper is from my stash and the sentiment from the set.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Orchids Rock, released and bought immediately by me in February 2015.

I hope you come to visit our RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE  blog and check out my teammates' creations, please don't forget that the stamps you use on your cards MUST BE OLDER THAN A YEAR, if you can give us the approximate date of their release or how long you've had them, we would love it.

A Delicious Garden Twofer.....

Hello everyone: The fabulous ladies at the TWOFER CHALLENGE never cease to surprise me, each challenge prompt word has been fun and, well.....challenging too. Here are my cards, together first then, individually.

I wish I had a thumb GREEN enough to grow these amazing Veggies, the most I've grown is a few herbs and a couple of tomato plants that, amazingly enough, gave us some pretty nice tomatoes last year.
But this gorgeous pile of veggies from a Power Poppy set called "Farmers Market" makes you feel like an expert gardener.

This is a "Get Well" card.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink, clear heat embossed it and colored with Sakura Koy watercolors, the pattern papers are from a retired line from Lili of the Valley, the "get well wishes" sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Teeny, Tiny Wishes", the other one from an old flourishes set called "From the Garden".
***********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from Penny Black, the apples from the same Power Poppy set.

*************************************************
Here's my Twofer card.

This is a Birthday card.
I stamped this image the same way but this time I did a bit of fussy cutting on the bottom veggies, the "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from SU "Teeny, Tiny Wishes", the "Way to Grow" from the Power Poppy set.
I added a strip of striped paper I save from all the Power Poppy stamp sets I get, I cut it to put the sets on their plastic envelopes, I think it's so colorful and it looks really awesome as an added detail, don't you think?
The little watering can is a button from my stash.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from SU "Bordering Blooms", the sentiment from Penny Black and the little sprig of Chives from Power Poppy "Sage Advice"

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Springtime Love, I stamped it on white card stock with Wisteria Wonder ink (I can't believe this ink pad is still juicy enough to stamp with) and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips.
********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is called Everything's Even Rosier from Power Poppy, the butterfly is from a 2004 Stampendous set (discontinued)
