Hello, dear cardmaking friends: It's time for a new theme for you to play with at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE and this one I know you'll like a lot because it's ANYTHING GOES, woohoo!! so I hope you find some time to create and join my teammates and me at our gallery.
This is the card I created for your inspiration.
The image is from a Power Poppy stamp set called Potted Primroses.
I stamped the image on a piece of white card stock with Memento black ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and a paper stump dipped in Gamsol.
Our theme is "Anything Goes" so I decided to try a technique that is a bit messy but fun to do, it's called the SHAVING CREAM TECHNIQUE, I love, love the beautiful designs you get with it, any combination of colors will look awesome.
The top panel was die cut with a circle die and propped with foam dimensionals on top of the colored panel, I adhere my fussy cut flowers on top of that also with foam dimensionals, the sentiment is from the set.
I added some pink mate enamel dots for a bit of "bling?"

The sentiment and the little pot with flowers are from the set, the top lace from a retired SU set called Delicate Details.

Wowie zowie, that shaving cream background is amazing! Fun, for sure. It's been years since I tried this. Beautifully colored Primroses and I really love the matte sprinkles. So soft. Marcy just released the Primroses in digi format. Nice!

Your pencil coloring is beautiful as always and the background looks just wow, Maria!!! The shaving creme technique is on my to do list for so long. Now I need to give it a try soon!
