Twofer Umbrella/Rain Challenge..........

Hello everyone: I hope all of you are doing well, handling the necessary confinement the best way possible.  We've been keeping busy Spring Cleaning and doing some yard work and I'm making cards, I'm so happy to have this hobby, it's a great way to forget for a while this situation we're all dealing with.
So, the Twofer Challenge ladies have one for us to play with and here are the cards I made to participate.

Some of my favorite critter stamps are from House Mouse so I made my Twofers with these cute and delightful images.
********************************************
This is my first card.

House mouse has other sweet little critters from a line called "Happy Hoppers" and this one called "Umbrella Nap" is one of them. How I wish I could be doing just exactly what this sweetie pie is doing.  I stamped the image with Antique Linnen distress ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, the umbrella is a die from Memory Box called "Pettite Umbrella".
The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called "Best Day Ever", I'm sorry I don't recall where the beach accessories are from, the pattern papers are from my stash.
***********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from the same Power Poppy set.
*****************************************************
This is my Twofer.

The little mouse image is called "Butterflight", and in this stamp, the baby mouse is holding on to the legs of a big butterfly, so to create this card, I inked only the mouse. I wanted the little hand to appear as if it's hanging from the umbrella so I cut around the hand with an Exacto knife and lifting it a bit, placed the umbrella's handle underneath.  The little butterflies are from a Penny Black set called "Critter Party, the baby rattle is from an old Flourishes set called "Baby Love" and the sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up! set called "Curly Cute" (2010-2011)
********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

I think the sentiment is from Stampendous (not sure), the teddy bear from the same Flourishes set as the rattle.

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

I used the same umbrella die for these cards.

Such sweet scenes, Maria ... brilliant idea to turn the umbrella into a parasol for that little beach bunny ... and how cute is that tiny mouse drifting in on the breeze above the field of lily of the valley! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

Your Twofers are fantastic, Maria! I can't stop looking at that sunbathing bunny under a gorgeous beach umbrella! It cracks me up and I love the design you made to showcase him with the little pail and flip flops! And your house mouse baby card is just darling! Great job having him hold the pretty umbrella among the lovely spring flowers. The insides, as always, are perfect! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #26! Take care and stay safe! Hugs, Darnell

Maria, your two cards are just the sweetest and prettiest things ever! Adorable little mouse on one and hopper on the other, and they both have umbrellas I'd be proud and happy to carry! I love the accessories with your beach card, and a baby card will always steal my heart. So fun to see these today!

Your House Mouse darlings are having so much fun on your cards! I love how each one is using the umbrella so differently. That beach looks so inviting, and I love that the little mouse is coming out of the Lily of the Valley flowers. Great idea to cut around his hand to hold the umbrella! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Both of your cards are adorable. Love the little mouse in the field of the Lily of the Valley, a favorite flower of mine when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.

What great ideas for your twofer! I never thought of a summer beach umbrella, but it sure made for a really cute card with that sun bathing bunny! I just LOVE the pink britches the bunny is wearing on the 2nd card - that's too stinkin' cute :)
