Elegant Pine Cone.....

Hello everyone: I've been fighting a cold for a few days, I'm better now but it was awful, ughhh!! I tried to ignore it and kept going to work out but I finally decided to just stay home and rest.
So, I have here a Christmas card made with a really pretty image from Stampendous called Pine Cone Decoration.

The image is stamped on a 4.25x5.5 folded piece of Ninah Desert Storm card stock with Stazon black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Glistening Paperwhites.

*****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment and the pine branch on the corner are from the Paperwhites set, the pine border from "Merry Littles".

I want to play along with the following challenges.

I've got my EYES on YOU!!!

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: The SHOPPING OUR STASH Designer Team has a fun challenge for you to play with and the theme is HALLOWEEN, which is just around the corner so I hope you go and check your Stash of spooky, fun stamps and come and join my teammates and me in our gallery. Here's my card, hope you like it.

It's so much fun to create Halloween cards, the spookier the better, don't you think? I used one of my old-time favorite sets from SU called "Jar of Haunts"
(2016 Holiday Mini) this particular image is YUCKY in the funniest way possible, the dripping slime, the added spiders, crawling down and inside this jar, with these eyeballs floating around in some kind of "preservative", had me laughing as I was stamping them, I know a few of you guys will get a chill down your spine, tee hee!!
I just stamped this image with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, colored with a neon green Crayola marker and So Saffron from SU.
The pattern paper and ribbon are from my stash, I can't remember where the sentiment came from.
****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

Every image on the inside is from this fun set.

So there you have it, hope it inspires you to come and play along with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH, where you'll find more awesome inspiration from my fabulous teammates, we can't wait to see what you create.

And here's my card.

This card is created with one of the images from a retired SU set called "Jar of Haunts" (2016Holiday Mini).  I stamped this one on watercolor paper with black ink and went over with a damp brush to pull the color, easy peasy, the frighting eyes, which I stamped, colored with markers and fussy cut and the sentiment are also from the set.
The paper is from my stash and so are the spiders

Sweets for The Twofer Challenge.....

Hello everyone: Well, it took a bit of time for me to come up with a couple of cards for the new Twofer Challenge, with a theme of SWEETS, and it wasn't because I don't have any sweets stamps, but because I had to figure out how to create two cards, using the same stamp, for two different occasions.
So I came up with these two cards, hope you like them.

**************************************************

I decided to create a Happy New Year card, I don't make too many of those but I really like the way this one turned out.
The image is from a Power Poppy set called Under Glass, love all the images on it with the option to put them under the glass bell or not.
I stamped the image on a die-cut piece of white card stock masking the candle and, with the aid of the MISTI, repositioned the stamp so I can stamp one of the sparklers in place of the candle, then I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, and added a bit of gold paint to the sparklers, the embossing folder is from SU (retired) but I can't recall the name, the golden frame from my stash of die cuts.
The word "happy" and the "2020" are from a die set that I got at the bargain bin at Michael's, I paid $3.00 for it, woo hoo!!
**************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a stash of leftover pattern paper, the sentiment and horn are from Power Poppy set called "Marcella's Mixtape Vol. 1"

****************************************************
Here's my Twofer.

I made a Birthday card, coloring the image the same way, I added a strip of pattern paper with the candles, so cute, die-cut the panels and stamped the sentiment from a Power Poppy set called Tea in the Garden, I added some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

***********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The row of balloons are from a My Favorite Things set called, the sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Ewe Are the Best and the cupcake from a Penny Black set called Cupcakes

A Little Reminder with CAS-ual Fridays.....

Hello, blogging friends: We're at the halfway point at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE so I'm here again with my second CAS card using the beautiful Mon Ami Stamp Set from CAS-ual Fridays.

I stamped the flowers with Rich Razzleberry ink from SU on watercolor paper and using a damp brush, pulled the color just a bit, then I added shadows with my Prismacolors. The sentiment is from the set.
I die cut the window with a scalloped circle die and placed glimmer paper on the back for a bit of shine. I added the pearls where the details on the flowers are.

*********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment, leaf and bottom flower are from the set.

Blooming Pumpkin.......

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: My teammates and I at SHOPPING OUR STASH want to get you in the mood for Autumn, Pumpkin Pie, crisp, clear days with gorgeous colors on the trees, Thanksgiving, etc. so we invite you to come and play along with us over the challenge blog and share your cards featuring Pumpkins or anything that spells Autumn for you.

Well, the name of this challenge blog is SHOPPING OUR STASH and oh boy!! I totally did this to create this card.
I have a box with a whole bunch of nameless red rubber stamps, this one seems to have been attached to a woodblock that I most likely peeled off and discarded back when wasn't thinking of blogging at all. I regret doing this but woodblock stamps take up a lot of space, maybe that's the reason I did it.
I'm going to create more cards with using the stamps in this box, I think they all deserve to be inked up.
I stamped the image with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, then colored with SU re-inkers.
**********************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from an old Flourishes set called "Tulips for Friends", the flower from a retired 2006 SU set called "Reason to Smile", brought back in 2012 for a limited time.

I hope you get inspired to come and play with us at the SHOPPING OUR STASH gallery, we can't wait to see what you create.

Thank you for stopping by, your comments always make my day.
