It's Spring and Autumn............

Hello again, everyone: My teammates and I at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE are very fortunate to have followers from all over the world, so we know it's either Autumn or Spring in your corner of this World at this moment in time so, to celebrate these two wonderful seasons our theme for the next challenge is "SPRING/AUTUMN" and my teammates and I would love to see you join us in our gallery.  We have a fabulous Guest Designer joining the fun, her name is Trina P and her blog is Phamtastic Design, go pay her a visit so you can check out her fabulous cards.

We being sponsored this month by the fun and fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps and they have generously offered a $12.00 gift card for our lucky winner, they have a huge array of images so, go and check them out.
This cute teapot is one of them.  I printed it and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, I added some gold paint to the dots, here's a picture where you could see the gold better.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos: Peonies and Tulips, I added 4 enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

Hydrangea in Bloom.......

Hello everyone: I'm making a lot of progress using my very old stamp sets, this one is called "Best Thoughts" it's from way back in 2015-2016 and it was a SU Host set I found on eBay.

I can't wait until my Hydrangea bushes start blooming, the color of the flowers is just like the one on this image, a little pink a little purple and a whole lot of beauty.  I stamped this flower on a die-cut piece of Strathmore Bristol card stock with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it, the butterfly and the sentiment are from this set.  I don't remember where the beautiful washi tape came from but I love it.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Tea in the Garden, the butterfly is from an old Flourishes set called "Gerbera Daisies".

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Moon Fairy.........

SOS Headquarters

Hello everyone: I haven't played with my Fairy stamps in a while so I made this card for the SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge with a theme of "Sun/Moon/Stars", my teammates and I can't wait to see what you create.

This image is called "Moon Fairy", I stamped the image with Stazon black ink on a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, colored it with Prismacolor pencils, then I die-cut it with a circle die. Before I even realized it, I had cut out that part of her dress that is hanging outside the circle, I was beside myself, I was wondering how I was going to repair this mistake, I had already colored the Fairy and was very happy with the results so, very carefully I fussy cut that little sliver of her dress and attached it to the image with double-sided tape, phew!!
I added a couple of Rhine Stones to her wings and one to that star she's reaching for, I also added some Wink of Stella to her wings, her dress, the moon and her hair.  I tried to darken the sky to make it look like a night sky but I don't have the correct inks for that, something I need to remedy ASAP!!
The word "amazing" was die-cut but I don't remember where I got that die, the pattern paper is from my stash.

******************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is my favorite to use when I make Fairy cards, it's from an old Flourishes set called "Orchids" (by Marcella Hawley), the little Fairy in the corner is from a set from 49 and Market called "Friends Forever" but I'm afraid it's no longer available, I bought it a long time ago.

So I hope you get inspired to come and play along with my teammates and me at the SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge blog, please visit us to see my teammates' creations.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sending virtual hugs.

Be Well........

Hello again, everyone: I hope you and your families are doing well, keeping busy and staying safe.
Like most of you, I've spent lots of time in my craft room, we haven't gone out of our house in over 2 weeks so, my home is clean and safe.
Here's a little card that I will enter in a couple of challenges.

This adorable image is from a 1999 Stampin' Up! set called "Mice Messages" which came out about 10 years before I even had any notion of card making and rubber stamping but one day, I was browsing Pinterest and I came across a card made with one of the other 3 stamps on this set and I fell in love.  Luckily, the lady that made that card left a link to her blog, I went to look and on her post, she wrote the name of the set.  So I went on a hunt until I found it on eBay, WOO HOO!!
So, anyway, I stamped it on a folded A-2 card base made of Strathmore Bristol paper and colored it with Windsor/Newton watercolor markers.
There is no sentiment because I'm entering the Less is More One Layer Challenge and the theme is NO SENTIMENT.

This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The border is from a SU set called "Delicate Details" (2017 SAB), the sentiment is from another SU set called "Whimsical Words" (2010 SAB) and the little mousey is from yet another SU set called "Furry Folk" (2011-2012 Catty)

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

A Snowy Day!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone: I hope all of you are doing well and adjusting to being home 24/7 at least for now and since I have a lot of time on my hands and I can't go swimming, I've been spending it in my craft room doing one of the things I love best, using my new and old stamps which I've promised myself I'd do.
Here's a card I will joyfully add to my Christmas stash.

This image is from Stamping Bella and it's called "Seasons Greetings" and I think it absolutely needs NO sentiment, the image says it all!!!
I stamped this cutie pie on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink, clear heat embossed it and colored it with Windsor&Newton watercolor markers, I created some snowbanks with a Prismacolor pencil and then, sponged the panel with distress ink, I created the "snow" with embossing paste and a snow stencil.

This is how the inside of my card looks like.

The border is from a retired SU set called "Delicate Details", the sentiment is from Stamping Bella and the candy canes from a Power Poppy set called "Merry Littles".

I want to play with the following challenges.

Lets Have Cake.......

Hello everyone: I know I say it every time I post but, I hope you all are doing well, keeping busy and being cautious, we all need to adjust to a new "normal" so, let's make the most of it.  I'm posting a little late because we went to the store to get some things we needed and I'm happy to say we found what we needed.

This card was created with a couple of totally forgotten stamp sets, the cake is from Stampin' Up! set called "Celebration Time", (I have the dies too) from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog and the equally forgotten "Layering Marble" stamp set from Waffle Flower, (2013)
I must confess that this set is a bit tricky to use, I watched several videos on Utube to try to learn how to position the stamps but I think I need more practice, I kind of got a bit frustrated so I decided to just stamp the images trying to create the marble effect and then, I added some gold paint to some places for a little bling.  The sentiment is from a retired SU set called "Itty Bitty Banners" (2013), the little paper flowers are from my stash.
*****************************************************
This is how the INSIDE of my card looks like.

The sentiment is from a 2010 Sale-a-bration SU set called "Whimsical Words", the little candles are from a Penny Black set called "Cupcakes"

I'm playing along with the following challenges.

Playing with the sketch and the cake.

Oh, Sweet Pea.......

Hello everyone: I hope all of you are doing well, staying safe and healthy, in these uncertain times, we must help each other by obeying the guidelines set up by experts, who know what they are talking about and will not misguide you, we also must be patient and keep busy, I'm thankful for this hobby that helps us pass the time and also, be creative.

This image is from a Power Poppy set called Sweet Memories, unfortunately the stamp set is retired but you can get the digital version called Sweet Pea Show, (on sale now😉), the pattern paper is from Lili of the Valley (retired), I embossed the back panel with the "Quilt Top" embossing folder from SU.  The image is stamped with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed, then colored with SU markers and an aqua brush.
The butterfly is from a retired SU set called "Papillon Potpourri"

The sentiment is from another Power Poppy set called Dynamic Duos:Foxglove and Ranunculus, the peapod from the Sweet Memories set.
